This 4 Day camp will be to focus on Pre Game / Game day / Post game routines and preparation. On the 26th for the in house matchday, invitations will be sent to local university coaches to attend in person . The game will be recorded by VEO and sent to other remote university contacts. The footage will be available for you to use personally too .

During the camp players will receive Technical training daily from Coach Adam Day and physical strength and conditioning work with a LIFT FITNESS staff member. There will also be an additional daily learning block, introducing alternate performance enhancing strategies. The total number of participants will vary between 10-20 players and will be available to athletes, ranging from ages 15-18 (U16-U19) Boys.

Recommended for BCSPL and provincial players Camp Includes: *Daily on field technical, position specific training and group work *Team conditioning training including Strength and power, speed and agility and core and stabilization. ($600 value) *Meditation and mindset program *Prehab routine and Thera resistance LIFT FITNESS training band. ($250 value per team) "Daily nutrition snacks & take-home nutrition plan. ($99 value pp)

Growing up Ali participated in a variety of sports including competitive soccer, squash, rafting and volleyball. He was also a personal trainer and kinesiologist for 3 years during his undergraduate studies at UBC. He has worked with variety of clients from professional athletes to older individuals recovering from neurological conditions. Ali also worked for 2 years as student trainer and student physio with UNBC men and women’s soccer teams. Through these athletic endeavors and his own personal injury experience Ali has appreciated the value in proper injury prevention and rehabilitation, which led him to pursue a career in physical therapy. Ali completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology and his Master of Physical Therapy at UBC. Since graduating, Ali has completed Level 1 courses with the Canadian Division of Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy and Level 1 course for Non-Surgical management of ACL injuries by Global physiotherapy clinic in Australia. Ali enjoys working with clients of all ages and abilities, integrating soft tissue and manual therapy techniques with therapeutic exercise and education to help clints with their rehabilitation journey and help them to reach their individual goals. Ryan decided to pursue a career as a certified athletic therapist after a lifelong involvement in sport, playing basketball and football, and wanted to stay involved in sport after he finished playing. While earning a degree in Kinesiology he found that teaching other athletes how to reduce their risk of injury and help them return to play after an injury is what he was the most passionate about after going through injuries of his own. Ryan has 8 years experience as a therapist in varsity sports with the University of Alberta Golden Bears Football team, and MacEwan University Women’s Hockey. As well as professionally with the Edmonton Elks and most recently Vancouver Whitecaps.

Ryan specializes in soft tissue release, manual therapy, prophylactic bracing and taping, injury prevention and assessment as well as rehabilitation and return to play programming. He holds additional certifications as a corrective exercise specialist and performance exercise specialist. One of Ryan’s goals is to take the rehabilitation and injury prevention process that is available to professional athletes and make it accessible to everyone, No matter if your goal is to keep playing your favourite sport, go hiking on the weekend or just be pain free throughout the week!

Megan graduated from the University of British Columbia-Okanagan with a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics (Kinesiology). Her area of concentration in her studies was Clinical Exercise Physiology, incorporating exercise and clinical skills into human movement and patient rehabilitation. She is a registered kinesiologist with British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. (BCAK)

Megan’s passion for fitness started at the young age of 5, playing soccer with Port Moody and dedicating 14 years to competitive Irish Dance. Megan has traveled all over the world, competing internationally at numerous World Championships and across North America at many National Irish Dance competitions. Over the years, dance has provided Megan with a strong knowledge foundation, igniting her passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.

Since graduating Megan has gained valuable experience working with physiotherapists in various populations in her community. With a solid understanding in teaching and exercise programming, she is eager to contribute to an individual’s health and fitness goals as part of the team at LIFT!

She was awarded Kinesiology Co-op Student of the Year in 2020 for her successes during her work term placements throughout her degree. Hayley grew up a competitive dancer which sparked her passion for health and wellness in which she loves to share with other people. She is committed to working with clients towards their personal goals and strives to find meaningful and function-based treatment activities to facilitate this. Inspiration to pursue a career in Physiotherapy developed in Tyson as a young athlete who received physiotherapy treatments, education and guidance for sports related injuries.

Tyson comes from an athletic background with a passion for many sports including; golf, soccer, baseball and hockey. Tyson continues to play golf and hockey recreationally, in addition to, running, hiking, biking, skiing and weightlifting. Tyson moved from Manitoba in 2020 to live and work in British Columbia as a Physiotherapist—this move was driven by the desire for the outdoor lifestyle and activities….. and of course, the milder winters.

Tyson graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology. Additionally, Tyson graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2018 with a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy. Since graduating in 2018, Tyson has taken continued education courses in Vestibular Therapy (dizziness and balance), concussion management, sports injury taping, musculoskeletal courses for the neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee and ankle, and Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy level 1.

Tyson enjoys treating individuals of all ages and injury types, with a keen interest on the athletic population and sport related injuries. Tyson believes strong communication, goal setting, collaborative planning, and team work are very important factors in reaching desired physiotherapy outcomes. Daniel completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University in 2022. Born and raised in Port Coquitlam, Daniel graduated high school from Terry Fox in 2017. Growing up he found himself playing whatever sport could fit his schedule, however he had the greatest success with ice hockey and played for the Port Moody Junior B Panthers.

Daniel decided that Kinesiology offered a unique opportunity to turn his interests in exercise, sports, and science into an education that would allow him to make a positive impact on his community. During his undergraduate degree at Simon Fraser, Daniel worked as a certified personal trainer and has a great understanding of teaching and programming exercise to achieve client specific goals.

During the winter you can find Daniel snowboarding at Mount Seymour, while any other time of the year he is usually mountain biking, working out, or playing the guitar. Kathleen is a long-time fitness enthusiast and Lift Fitness workout participant. She is a Certified Personal Fitness and Weight Trainer, registered with BCRPA and certified by Douglas College in 2016. She is a former secondary school teacher, university level instructor, and teacher union president. After retirement from the B.C. Teachers’ Federation in 2015, she decided to fulfill her long-held ambition to certify as a fitness trainer. Kathleen has a particular interest in fitness and resistance training for older adults because she knows firsthand the enormous everyday health benefits that accrue from having improved muscular strength, greater aerobic capacity, and leaner body mass. She wants to help older adults achieve their healthiest, happiest life through progressive training programs adapted to every participant’s unique fitness and lifestyle goals.
